Are you considering making a donation?

Individuals and businesses that are looking to make a worthwhile donation need look no further, The Doorway to Recovery gratefully accepts donations of funds and many different items, all of which directly benefit those in our sober living homes and those that attend our Life Recovery Programs.  If you are looking to make a monetary donation, simply click the link at the bottom of this page or call The Doorway to Recovery’s Main Office at 248-987-2696.  Read on for more information about donations of items.

The Doorway to Recovery accepts donations of some items, items that benefit our participants in our sober living homes.  Donation friendly items would be items that are in good shape, that can benefit men and women’s lives professionally, or can help the overall morale in the sober living homes.  Here are some of the donated items that we may be able to accept…

  • Furniture
  • Large appliances
  • Small appliances
  • Linens / towels
  • Silverware
  • Dishes
  • Electronics
  • Non-perishable food items
  • Personal hygiene products
  • Laundry soap
  • Some clothing items

Our staff and program participants appreciate that you are considering donating to help those that are making positive changes in their lives.  For more information about donations, feel free to contact our Main Office at any time.  Remember, The Doorway to Recovery is always open!
