About Dr. Barlow:

Dr. L.A. Barlow (PsyD 2013) is working as a psychotherapist, certified forensic consultant, licensed professional counselor, a registered addiction counselor, and a crisis care psychological first aid provider. She is also certified for Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) and has completed a post doctorate degree in psychopharmacology. Dr. Barlow has recently signed on as the psychological consultant for 25th Frame Films. She is working on the independently filmed TV series called “The Inner Circle,” which focuses on mental health and addiction.  In addition, Dr. Barlow has been seeing patients at The Doorway to Recovery’s Main Office to assist them in their recovery process.

Therapy Sessions with Dr. Barlow:

Dr. Barlow accepts insurance and private pay clients and meets with them at The Doorway to Recovery’s Main Office.  Some of the insurances that Dr. Barlow accepts are:

  • Blue Cross Blue Shield

Working  a solid recovery program while successfully dealing with life’s hurts, habits, and hangups in a safe, professional setting is essential to the recovery process.  Dr. Barlow can assist with this.  If you would like to set up an appointment, schedule an intake appointment, or check on your insurance coverage, just give The Doorway to Recovery’s Main Office a call at 248-987-2696.  Anybody is welcome to see Dr. Barlow; patients do not have to be enrolled in The Doorway to Recovery’s Sober Living Program.
