Outside Activites

As you may or may not know, through years of abusing drugs and alcohol, many recovering people do not have an idea of how to have fun without the use of drugs and alcohol. Life Recovery’s Outside Activities take people in early recovery to various locations and have good old fashioned sober activities and fun without any substances. Groups are clean and sober and may have a charge based upon the events. Life Recovery’s Outside Activity events include: sporting events, hayrides, concerts, bonfires, movie nights, educational field trips, sports events, and many more fun things to do! Anybody is welcome to join in the fun. Please call The Doorway to Recovery’s Main Office with any questions about upcoming Outside Activities at 248-987-2696, or visit our Doorway to Recovery Calendar of Events.

While checking out our calendar, make sure that you check to see if the events are open to the public, to those in recovery, to family and friends, or only to participants in The Doorway to Recovery.  You can click on each individual event to get more details and information about it, including any costs and fees associated with it.  We would love to see you at our next public event, so make sure you check often!
